God TV Partners

Christian TV (CTV) is dedicated to helping God TV Partners obtain the best from their Satellite system, and enabling new partners to purchase or rent a system to receive the Christian channels without undesirable ones.

Our Care & Support Scheme covers your satellite equipment, gives FREE retunes and a dedicated telephone support line.
You’ll have a brand new receiver every three years.

RETUNING YOUR GOD-BOX
CTV offers a Retuning Service to God TV Partners, giving the programmes listed on our home page. Price: £33.00 including return carriage.

RETUNING YOUR GOD-BOX GIVES YOU OVER 20 CHRISTIAN CHANNELS

Simply enclose your cheque for £33.00 and your name and address with your receiver, pack it carefully and send via the Post Office as cheaply as possible, to Christian TV, Virtual Business Centre, Buxhall, Stowmarket, IP14 3DX.

Please place your cheque on top of the Receiver, not on outside of package.
Please mark surname and Post Code on outside of carton.
It helps if you write "RETUNE" on the parcel.

Or you may wish to retune your own box as per out support page.

UPGRADING
Many of you have a receiver that is four or five years old so you may wish to upgrade to one of our modern receivers. Please call us for options.

FREE HOSPITAL CHECK – testing your receiver
Send us your satellite receiver for a FREE CHECK, marking your name, address and phone number clearly on the bottom of the receiver.
After testing we will call you to discuss results. We suggest you phone/email before sending.

TECHNISAT RECEIVER (small Receiver with God TV logo on the front)
If the picture breaks up into squares or there is a 'no signal' message on all channels, especially if the picture breaks up after a little while: normally the dish is not at fault but the Receiver needs replacing. Please save yourself the expense of calling out an engineer and paying up to £90 to be told there is nothing wrong with your Satellite dish. It is often better to send us the Receiver for a FREE Hospital Check as this is a less expensive method of finding out what is wrong, and an opportunity to have the Receiver upgraded if it is working well. Why not call 01449 73 73 77 now as we can often diagnose over the phone.

HUMAX RECEIVER
You can test your power supply section of the Humax by turning the unit off for about a minute, and then turning on. If the start-up section has failed or is failing, the following symptoms may occur. A blank display on the Humax receiver. A dash or flashing dash instead of the time. A ticking noise

If any of the above occurs on your Humax receiver, we would advise you to unplug it from the mains at once. A few units have started to smoke after the above conditions occurred.

We can easily recondition these units, we keep several in stock. You may be better to buy a new unit with all the extra features and then no more sending the box for retune.

Humax Software
The latest version of Humax Software is C106. You can test your unit by putting to Standby and turning on again, watch the Humax display on the receiver and you will see a number between C100 and C106. If your unit is sticking on the channels and C100-C105 is shown, probably an upgrade would do. If it is C106 and sticking, the motherboard has probably gone. When providing Humax retunes or supplying reconditioned units we always upgrade the unit to C106, add the latest channel information, and then soak test the unit.

Humax Signal Problems
Like the Technisat signal problems above, sometimes the tuner unit in the Humax fails. These can be repaired but it is probably better to go for a replacement new unit.

BIG WHITE DISH
If you still have the big white dish which is ugly and often moves in the wind, we can upgrade this to a small 43 cm (in most areas) mesh grey dish which is inconspicuous, more efficient, and generally will not move in high winds.
